As everyone is aware, businesses all across the world have had to adapt slightly to the current corona virus (Covid-19) situation. Kartatak Raceway Tuggerah is no different. We look forward to having you back in the karts drifting around our corners again.


Kartatak always treats the health and safety of our clients and staff with the utmost of importance and during these times we have made some further enhancements to our practices to ensure we can all continue to enjoy your time with us.

COVID-19 Risk Assessment Notes - Patron General Admission

Kartatak Raceway Tuggerah, in response to the New South Wales Government’s current coronavirus restriction requirements, has updated the company’s Risk Assessment Report and implemented these restriction requirements to support the ongoing Kartatak business operations.


As part of the revised Risk Assessment the risks posed and the actions to take place by Kartatak, its staff and patrons for their general admission have been addressed and relatively listed below:


Conditions of Entry


Wellbeing of Staff and Patrons 

  • All staff and potential customers must stay away if feeling unwell.
  • All patrons above 12 years of age must wear a mask while in the reception area.
  • Weekend, public and school holidays patrons are required to pre-booked their attendance via the Kartatak webpage or email: kartataktuggerah@gmail.com or by telephone (02) 4351 5929.
  • All customers must complete a Kartatak Licence form, register their attendance at Kartatak by use of the contactless QR code system linked to the Service NSW App located in the reception area and present their successful registration and completed licence form to the reception staff for the purposes of required record keeping.

Physical Distancing

  • Based on the required 1.5 square metres per patron the Kartatak facility’s trackside seating and staging areas maximum seating capacity is 18 patrons.
  • Based on the required 1.5 square metres per patron the Kartatak facility’s covered courtyard area maximum seating capacity is 30 patrons.
  • All patrons are required to support 1.5 metres physical distancing where possible and not stand or comigrate in or along patron movement access passageways.

Hygiene and Cleaning

  • Alcohol based hand sanitiser and wipes are located throughout the facility, soap and disposable hand towels are located in the restrooms, with clear usage signage for all patron’s regular use before and after driving the karts or at any patron’s desire.
  • Patrons are encouraged and will be reminded by the staff to continually utilise these hand hygiene supplies. 
  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting procedures of surfaces and equipment are ongoing during opening hours by the staff.
  • Patrons are required to assist during these procedures by following all staff instructions. 
  • Patrons are allowed to bring and use their own helmets and driving gloves on the condition that these personal items are kept within their reach at all times when not in use.
